This week we have installed two slightly different types of security camera systems in Geelong.
The first job was on a conventional house. The client requested the installation of 2 x hard wire cameras to monitor the property because the shed and cars were broken into last week. The system we installed was TVT home security, which has the ability to monitor and alert movement when detected and provide notification in real time though a mobile app. We also made the main TV in the lounge a point to monitor and alter settings to the system (shying away from a dedicated monitor). The picture feature and coverage was at a high quality.

The second job was at a short term accommodation complex in East Geelong. The owner wanted to have a better gauge on the number of guests and have some the gates, doors, pathways and the car park monitored for security. This was a difficult site to run interconnecting wires as it had flat roofing and one unit that was remote from the main building. We installed 4 wireless Concord interconnected cameras. Each security camera needed an independent power supply and one remote recorder within the property. This system is also very flexible and has the ability to alert designated mobiles with monition detection notifications in real time.

These systems are cheaper than you might think, allow you a reduced insurance premium and give you real information about your property when you are not there.
